A little about me:
My name is Amy McAmis. I am so excited to be your child’s second-grade teacher!!
Personally:
I am from Greene County and I went to Baileyton, Ottway, and North Greene High School. I am married and have the most wonderful and supportive husband. We have two grown children, four grandchildren, and another on the way! 😊 I am looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning with you and your child!!
Professionally:
I have taught in most grades K-8 with most of my teaching experience in K-2. I have a B.S. degree in Elementary Education, M.A. in Reading, Ed. S. in Educational Administration & Supervision, and an Ed. D.- Doctor of Education. This begins my 27th year of teaching and my 22nd year at Baileyton. More importantly, I still have a passion for learning- the students and mine.
