About The School
Vision:
Better Each Student
At Baileyton Elementary School all students will envision many positive, learning experiences as they gain knowledge and exhibit acceptable behavior. They will learn to share their knowledge and enthusiasm as they leave to become better productive citizens.
Our School:
- The school has a student population of approximately 360 students in grades PK-4.
- The school was originally Baileyton High School. In 1963, North Greene High School opened combining grades 9-12 from Baileyton High School and Ottway High School.
- Although our school is smaller than some of the other elementary schools in Greene County, it has consistently scored as well or better than other Greene County Elementary Schools on state tests and has met or exceeded state averages.
- Baileyton Elementary combines a friendly atmosphere with a commitment to education.
