I began my elementary school career right here at Baileyton Elementary.  After that, I moved to Greeneville Middle School, then graduated from Greeneville High School in 2008.

I continued my education at Tusculum College and earned the degrees of Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, and K-12 Modified and Comprehensive Special Education.  I am also certified to teach 7-12 grade English. I graduated from Tusculum in December of 2012.

  • High School Special Education English Teacher at GHS:  Jan-May 2015

I am so excited to be starting my full time teaching career here in my hometown!  I attended Baileyton Elementary until 5th grade, and lived in the Baileyton community until 2004.  It is amazing to be back "home!"  I can't wait to get to work with my students.  I am dedicated to making each student I work with feel valued and respected, with an attitude of "I CAN DO THIS," no matter what they are facing!  My expectations for my students will never be at a low standard, but they will never be alone in learning because I firmly believe that we learn together!  I am looking forward to an amazing year with some tremendous successes!

My personal interests include anything outdoorsy (hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, etc.), cooking, and of course, TENNESSEE FOOTBALL!  GO VOLS!  I have one precious dog, a schnauzer named Chloe, who is like my baby!
