Teaching Experience:
21 years experience
6 years at Nolachuckey Elementary
15 years at Baileyton teaching the following: Kindergarten and Library
I taught first grade and kindergarten for three years at Nolachuckey. I moved to Baileyton to be closer to home and become more involved in after school activities. I taught kindergarten for six years at Baileyton. The opportunity to become the media specialist at Baileyton arose. I enjoy the library because I love to read. My goal is to instill the love of reading in children and hopefully they will continue to enjoy reading as adults. I earned Model Library Coordinator certification from Renaissance through our Accelerated Reader program for the 2013-2014 school year.
I have served in the following capacities while at Baileyton Elementary School:
Spelling Bee, SIP Chairperson, Reading Committee, AR Trip Sponsor, and Parent-Involvement Coordinator.
