Our School

  • The school has a student population of approximately 320 students in grades PK-8.
  • The school was originally Baileyton High School. In 1963, North Greene High School opened combining grades 9-12 from Baileyton High School and Ottway High School.
  • Although our school is smaller than some of the other elementary schools in Greene County, it has consistently scored as well or better than other Greene County Elementary Schools on state tests and has met or exceeded state averages.
  • Baileyton Elementary combines a friendly atmosphere with a commitment to education.
  • Although we have an excellent athletic program, our primary focus remains is to providing our students with an academic program second to none.
